Company introduction | |
Locus Publishing Company is a Taiwanese publisher focusing on business, true stories (including memoirs, biographies, travelogues, etc.), self-help, illustrated books, fiction, young adult, history, philosophy, health, as well as daily inspirations and light literature designed for female readers. |
Publishing experience
I am primarily responsible for the conceptualization and editing of the company’s videos, as well as project editing. I also periodically handle the content of subsidy documentation for the company’s dealings with the government. |
Current projects | |
I am currently responsible for the editing and marketing of Rick Rubin’s new book, “The Creative Act: A Way of Being,” as well as the editing of promotional videos. At the same time, I am also producing promotional videos for picture books by local Taiwanese authors. |
Main interest | |
I have found my purpose in being an editor and a publisher. My work bridges my interests in educating and empowering the youth and forming meaningful and creative collaborations. Outside of work, I volunteer for a human rights organization which makes use of art to promote human rights and to inspire modern heroism. |
Experience related to this year’s topic
I have a strong interest in subcultures and enjoy focusing on the lives and cultures of the underprivileged. I also have my own band. Additionally, I enjoy learning different languages and am very interested in various cultures around the world. |
