| Eklavya, is a nonprofit organization, has been working in the field of education and publication since 1982. It started work with a focus first on Science and Social Science Education in middle schools and then on language, Maths and Environment Studies after few years at the primary level in Madhya Pradesh as well as various states of the country. The organisation started the publication program in 1996 to expand its reach of ideas and experiences. Initially the publication initiative in Eklavya focussed on textbook development but later on it got recognised as a publisher of books on education and books for children. With the help of the Tata Trust and Ministry of Human Recourse Development our publication program flourished. And we are now able to produce about 30 to 35 titles per year as opposed to only 2 titles per year earlier. This increased our publications to about 400 in all.
