Today, TUP has 7 subsidiary publishing units as well as 3 publishing centers: journal, academic and digital publishing centers, which make TUP a publisher with an all-inclusive publishing structure integrating printed books, video and audio products, journal, electronic and digital publications.
TUP gathers a professional team of editors, sales force and distributors, who form the effective force to promote sustainable development of the company. TUP has been actively developing its overseas business in both copyright trade and co-publishing through strategic partnership with internationally notable publishers. While introducing overseas titles to China, TUP has been commissioning authors around the world and publishing high-quality English academic titles which are distributed on the world market. Rights to almost 400 of TUP’s titles have been licensed to publishers in the United States of America, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, etc. Besides, over 200 titles have been published in Complex Chinese in China’s Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao.
TUP also establishes a digital platform (www.izhixue.cn), which is the fruit of its transition towards educational service provider. As an intelligent ubiquitous learning platform for individualized multi-terminal teaching and learning, this platform digitalizes textbooks and other teaching materials, combines them closely with classroom teaching, develops individualized curriculum management modules so as to intelligentize and maximize teaching resource sharing. Our digital publishing portal (www.wqbook.com) provides digital books and journals from TUP and 20 other publishers, which has now become a publishing and promotional platform covering 1,700 universities and 40,000 registered members.
